The inscrutable problem of China

The travelling circus that is the Group of Seven has alighted on London where the finance ministers and central bank governors of the seven largest economies have been discussing the problems of the world economy. Africa figured large. But despite the human suffering there, and the political posturing here, Africa still does top the hard finance agenda.
