BEIJING: Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing said Thursday his country is "willing to unswervingly push forward" its ties with India, reports Xinhua.

India, China move to end oil rivalry

In what could be the high point of the Mani Shankar Aiyar-initiated oil diplomacy, China's external oil arm, the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), and ONGC Videsh Limited (OVL) are likely to bid jointly for oil and gas assets across the globe — instead of battling against one another.

80% of Russian military exports go to China, India.

“Trade in armaments, ammunition and military hardware is a very peculiar thing,” Putin told Rosoboronexport head Sergei Chemezov. “Any activities of the kind must strictly comply with Russia’s foreign policy,” he added.

China Stocks Arsenal With Russia Weapons

Blocked from buying U.S. and European arms, Beijing has stocked its arsenal with Russian-made supersonic fighters and other high-tech weapons, and is investing in the development of its own cruise missiles.

China's "New Thinking" on Japan

According to recent Western reports out of China and views expressed
by the Japanese press and many analysts, Beijing is either actively
encouraging or tacitly tolerating a growing anti-Japanese sentiment in
China. Thus Beijing is portrayed as largely, if not entirely,
responsible for the deteriorating state of the Sino-Japanese political
relationship. Some even attribute the rising negative attitude of the
Japanese toward China as a consequence of the Chinese behavior.

Closer Sino-Israel defense ties give US headache

Recent Sino-Israel defense deals have given rise to tensions between

which opposes the transfer of hi-tech weapons to states perceived as

Coup d'Etat in Washington and "The Dollar Paper Tiger"

Fiery Dragon in Asia and the Pacific

Editors note

We bring to the attention of our readers this essay by Professor Andre Gunder Frank, one of the World's leading and most distinguished political economists.

Frank analyses the relationship between militarisation and the crisis of the US dollar as a World currency.

The essay provides a comprehensive perspective on the evolving New World Order, its structural weaknesses and contradictions.

More importantly, it enables us to understand the economic underpinnings of the Neocons "war on terrorism."

This essay consists of the following parts:

Coup d' État in Washington

Paper Tiger - The United States and the World

Fiery Dragon: China in East Asia

André Gunder Frank is currently an Associate of the Luxembourg Institute for European and International Studies, Luxembourg and Senior Fellow, World History Center, Northeastern University, Boston, Mass.

The U.S. Trade Advantage with China

Here's the truth: We have the trade advantage with China. We send a little paper dollars that they cannot use, and we get a lot of great stuff that we buy and use continually. We give paper money that is an unjust weight and measure, an abomination. We are cheating them; they are not cheating us.

XYMPHORA ANALYSIS: Israel Cozying up with China?

You can't kill that many people, and cause that much disruption and destruction, without having the whole world furious with you. It is therefore imperative to have the biggest motherfucker on the block to watch your back, and the United States is that motherfucker. It would be impossible for the Israelis to treat the Palestinians the criminal way they do without the aiding and abetting of the United States, and furthering the Project would be impossible without similar help.

Problem. The United States is a giant turd circling the toilet bowl, and George Bush is flushing as fast as he can.
